Cover a seat
- Venue rental, food and setup
- Printing, decor and supplies
- Covering a seat for a woman who cannot cover her own
Everything given goes into the cost of putting women in a room together. Nothing here is tax deductible, and we say so plainly.
A young organization runs on rooms, food and the people who show up early to set them.
Ways to supportBe clear on the tax position. MySistas is not currently a registered 501(c)(3). Contributions are not tax deductible as charitable donations. They are, in the founder’s words, sisterhood in action, and every dollar goes into the gatherings themselves.

A brunch for forty women needs a room, tables, food, flowers, printing and someone there two hours early to set it up. A prayer gathering needs a space and chairs. A festival table needs a tent, a banner and a day of somebody’s life.
That is where support goes. Not overheads, not salaries, not a marketing budget. Rooms.
The practical questions, answered without spin.

Into the gatherings. Venue rental, food, decor, printing, insurance for events, and helping cover a seat for a woman who cannot cover her own.
Ask. She has sat on panels about mental health and speaks about faith, sisterhood and building something from a hard start. Email info@mysistas.org with the date, the audience and what you want the room to walk away with.
Give, partner, or come and set up chairs. All three count.
